Your bag is yours

Last updated October 7, 2026. Plain English on purpose.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google: your email, your Google name, and your Google account id. That's the whole sign-up.

Everything else is what you type: paddles you own (your bag), paddles you want, asking prices, offer amounts, and quiz answers if you take the quiz.

What other players see

Every player gets a random pickleball alias at sign-up. It's the only name shown anywhere — wanted posts, bag pages, offers, pings, and emails. Your real name and email are hidden until both of you accept each other as friends.

Your bag page (dinkswap.com/players/your-alias) lists paddles you own and what you're hunting for. It never shows your real name, and you can delete any listing whenever you like.

What we never do

  • — No ads, no trackers, no analytics cookies. The site has no cookies other than your login session.
  • — No selling or sharing of your data. Not with "partners", not ever.
  • — No payment rails. Swaps settle peer-to-peer (Venmo, Zelle, cash) between players.

Email

If email notifications are on, we send offers and friend requests as they happen, and paddle pings in a batched digest. Every email shows aliases only and has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also switch channels off under Pings & offers.

Deleting your account

One tap under Pings & offers ("Delete account") or in the app's Profile tab. That immediately and permanently erases your account, bag, wanted posts, offers, friendships, notifications and email queue. Sessions are invalidated on the spot. It's real deletion, not a "deactivate".
